Want to be a part of an organization that teaches children to look beyond themselves and become socially responsible individuals? Count on Kids is a Sacramento region, non-profit and we rely on our amazing volunteers to make our programs possible. Being a volunteer with Count on Kids is a great opportunity to get involved with our growing Leadership Squad (youth members) and all we have to offer. Count on Kids welcomes volunteers who have the same vision for providing children opportunities to give back to their communities through community service projects.

Our Activity Blogger position will provide you an opportunity to showcase all the great stuff that you and your children do to support your community. Perform a community service project that children can do with the support of their caregivers, take photos, document the how-to and share your experience via our website. Simply put – your blog will provide our Leadership Squad (youth members) with ideas on how they can continue to support their community, outside of our great events.

Students: This position is eligible for community service hours (Open to middle school and high school volunteers!)

 

Some of the responsibilities include:

• Writing monthly (or bi-monthly) blog articles for Count on Kids’ website for us to market on social media platforms.

• Work closely with the Founder and Marketing Director to develop blog article ideas that align with Count on Kids’ social media campaign strategies.
